Lucky Me…

Lucky Me..

How many of you out there  celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?  lucky me

We used to when my children were little, but not so much anymore.  But, I thought that it would be fun to use this “Lucky” holiday for another reason!

Instead of wearing of the green, or looking for someone to pinch,  or dreaming of our pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  That we wear a smile to share with someone, we keep our eyes open for someone that could use a little help today and we dream of how happy all of this makes us!

In other words…let’s count our blessings!

This could be a fun activity for Family Home Evening, to do in your journal or planner or even it you just want to commit it to memory.  Which I would have a very difficult time doing!  Ha Ha!

I made a little printable card for you to use for this activity:lucky-me-000-Page-1Formatted to a 4 x 6 size so you can print your own or send it out to be printed.

To print as a jpeg image, simply right click over the image.  Go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can print from there.

So now it is time to start thinking of all that ways that you are Lucky!

For fun, I thought I would help you get started with a few of my own.

Lucky Me…

I have a warm house when it is cold.

We have running water

Clothes to cover my nakedness!  (Your welcome)

Cars that run

Delicious food

Family close by

Faith

Love

A healthy husband

Talents

Hobbies

Fabric!

Ability to read

That is just a very SMALL start to my list.  What would you add to your list?

So instead of pinching and  looking for ways to trick others, why don’t we all just think

Lucky Me…

And, for those of you that still like to celebrate this holiday in the traditional way.  Check out this fun Lucky Charm Bingo game that my granddaughter made!
