My oh my…where does the time go? I can hardly believe that May is here already! Before we know it, the kids will be out of school and summer will be in full swing! I spent a good deal of time outside yesterday, planting flower pots, but I did have a great helper with me…my 5 year old grandson! :) If I am planting flowers already,
I guess that it must be time for the May Visiting teaching handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!I thought for this month, since the message is one of the conference talks, that it would be fun to make a notebook cover, so that you could keep your conference notes all together! I tied a fun little “Read” tag to the top to make it a little cuter…because you know that ribbon just makes everything cuter!! :)
I just used a simple Steno Pad that I got at Wal-mart, but you can find them most anywhere. It is a 6 x 9″ size and they are very inexpensive.
This is the 4 x 6 card for those of you that would just like to send or take a card out. If you could find a 4 x 6 notepad…this would also make a cute little cover for a smaller notebook! Here is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate, or if you are in need of a little card for something else! Next, I have the little tags. These are formatted to a 4 x 6″ card size, so you can print your own, or send it out to your favorite card processing center. I wrote on this card that it is a 6 x 8.5″ note book, but the size on the actual front of the notebook says 6 x 9″ This is the cover of the notebook. This has been formatted to fit on an 8.5 x 11″ page. That is the only way that I could get the true size to work out. You will have to trim around the edges to make it fit. Here is a blank notebook cover, for those of you that would like to translate, or if you want to put something else on the front of your notebook! I apologize that I did not make blank tags! If you want something else, you will have to cover up the word “Read”. Sorry.
To print these as a jpeg, or photo, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder. You can print your own, or you can have them sent out to your favorite photo processing center. I like to print my own on photo paper, but you could also print them on card stock paper.
For those of you that would like the PDF format, click on these links:
May VT 2015- note book front- blank
There are several things that you could do with these printables. You can make the notebook covers in either size. You can tie the tag to the top of the book, or you could tie the tag to a red pencil or highlighter marker. You could just print the card and take it with a copy of your favorite conference talk, or you could print your favorite conference talk and tuck it inside the notebook. There are lots of options here, so I hope that you will enjoy that you get to choose! (I am still waiting for my conference issue to come in the mail. Have any of you received yours yet?)
As always though…remember that it is the visit that is important…not the handout!!
Thanks for visiting today. Hope you have a great weekend, and Happy Visiting this month!
(The images that I used for these handouts are from Just So Scrappy, from the “Isn’t She Lovely” collection.)

If you want the PDF format, just click on the links. If you want a JPEG or photo format, right click over the image and go to “save image as” Save in a folder, then you can either print your own, or send it out to your favorite photo processing center. It looks like the link for the message and blank are incorrect. It pulls up the notebook cover. Do you mind double checking the link? LOVE your handouts and sure appreciate you sharing your talents! :-)
Oops…I just realize that IS the handout. Sorry about that!
Thanks so much for these super cute handouts! I love stuff like this, but I’m “creativity challenged”. I like to have something to leave with my sisters for them to be reminded of our discussion throughout the month, and these are perfect!

Hi Rita , It’s Kathy ,I looked on LDS .org this morning and the visiting teaching message for March is “Created in the image of God” If you have time would really really appreciate the March handout early…..If not, I so understand.
