This last weekend I went to the Cowboy Vintage and Flea in Pleasant Grove, Utah. It was a beautiful fall day and perfect for wandering around a vintage market! I had a great weekend. My husband and I went up to our cabin, the leaves along the way were breathtaking as we drove up the canyon!
I could not believe all the beautiful colors…everywhere we looked!
I went to Swiss Days in Midway
It was a crazy mad house like always, but my daughter joined me and we did a little shopping! I was able to meet the cute lady behind the Mormon Mom Planner! I did not get my planner yet because she told me they are coming out with a new one that is perfect for empty nesters…like me! :) I can’t wait to see it! If you love a good planner like I do, check out the Mormon Mom Planner. She also has one that is a general planner for those that do not want the “Mormon” part! :) They are very reasonably priced, they have lots of room to write and organize your day and they are darling! Check them out!
After I got back home, I did some laundry and cleaned things up a bit then I went to the Dixie Chicks Concert with my daughter and granddaughter that night! We went to dinner first and then to a fun concert! It was outdoors and the weather was beautiful!
So that is what I did last weekend…I hope that you were able to do something fun with the ones that you love too!
Last week while my friend, Kathy, and I were at our sewing retreat we made a darling Bundt Pan Pumpkin Wreath!

Happy Friday everyone! I thought that today I would just share a thought that I have posted before, but it is a great one to think about- It is Not Happy People…
I love the autumn time and the beautiful colors. This picture was taken in front of my house and I love these beautiful trees that line our neighborhood. And so it is with a grateful heart, that I decided on this thought for the week! We need to all remember…It is Not Happy People… We all need to work on being a little more thankful in all things, including me! I am grateful for the many blessings that my family and I have… and even though they are hard…I am thankful for the trials too, because they make us all stronger. I am even thankful for these beautiful trees…that is until I have to start raking all those leaves! :)
I hope that you are all having a great day and that you have some wonderful plans for the weekend! We have a baptism for one of our cute granddaughters, so that will be fun! I hope that all of you get to do something that you love with someone that you love!
I just finished decorating for fall and Thanksgiving! I love this Autumn holiday and the fact that we can stop and reflect on all of the many blessings that we have. All we have to do is take a look around us and we will see how very fortunate we all are!
I made this wreath for under $13! All of the fall florals were on sale at Michaels for 80 % off, so I was able to score!

Last week at our Girls weekend, I showed you a picture of a couple of unfinished projects. I got one of those projects completed this week and I love how it turned out! I love the changing of the seasons and the fact that it is starting to cool down at night. I love the leaves turning colors, football games, hot chocolate, bonfires, and all of the fall holidays! I have not always loved fall however, when I was younger, it seemed like kind of a depressing time with all the leaves and flowers “dying”. The kids would go off to school and my husband used to hunt a lot and it just seemed like a lonely time…WHAT WAS I THINKING??? I am so glad that I can see the beauty of the Autumn weather and enjoy all the changes that this season brings. I guess that I just needed to be old enough to accept change and see all the good in that! Just as in life, we need to accept change and look for the good things around us!
