This is a repost that I did a year ago. The original post said to use your leftover Halloween candy, but you could use any of these recipes before Halloween for your parties, get together’s or for a fun family night! These recipes are also great to give away as gifts for the holidays. Many of these recipes can be changed up just a little bit and you could use them for any time of the year!

Halloween Table Quilt
I finished my Halloween Table Quilt last weekend! Hurray!
I feel like I have been sewing non-stop lately, but I have been able to get a lot done, so I am not complaining! My husband went hunting last week so I did no cleaning or cooking for a couple days. It was nice to just be on my own timetable and do whatever I wanted when I wanted! I have two more quilts that I want to get done. A Fall/Thanksgiving quilt and my Christmas Stitched quilt. Oh, and I have another minky/baptism quilt, (but for a girl this time) coming up the first part of December! So I have 3 more to go!
But here is my Halloween Table Quilt. I think that it turned out pretty cute. I love all the details in this little quilt. It is good for a wall hanging or for a table quilt:
Chocolate Dipped Rice Crispies
Here is fun, EASY, treat that you can make for your family for family night, or for a Halloween party, or to take a treat to your neighbors or co-workers! It is just a simple spin on a classic recipe!
Thursday’s Thought-“Eye” Hope You Have…
Today is Thursday, so it is time again, for my Thursday’s Thought!
This is just a silly little thought from my silly little mind, but maybe it will get you all in the Halloween Spirit!
This is a fun print that would be great to frame for a sign for your Halloween party,
or just to put on your kitchen counter or your work desk!
It would also make cute tags to tie onto your Halloween treat bags! But whatever you do…
“Eye” hope that you have a bewitching Halloween Season!
Have a great day everyone! Love Ya!
Easy Chevron Halloween Quilt
Here is one of the quilts that I have been working on this past couple of weeks!
I was a little bit worried about how this quilt would really turn out because I bought some of the fabric at a quilt show that I went to and after getting part way done with sewing the quilt, I realized that I had only gotten 1/2 as much fabric as what I needed! So I went to my fabric stash and got enough to sew about 3/4 of the quilt and then I had to go buy the rest of the fabric! So this is really a mismatched quilt, but I actually like how it turned out!
Thursday’s Thought -Only Bad Witches…
Here is my thought today. I don’t think that it needs any explanation or introduction!
Because it is what it is…right?
This would be a fun one to print and frame. Perhaps you know someone that would like this on their desk, or kitchen counter to make them smile when they look at it.
Happy Haunting today and if you are going to be a witch today, make sure that at least you are a beautiful one! :)

From our house to yours:
Happy Halloween!
We had our Halloween Party on Sunday with fun food, games and costumes! We played Bingo, Don’t Eat Jack, Pin the Heart on the Skeleton, Mummy Bowling and the one tradition that the kids all ask for as soon as they walk in the door: an old fashioned fish pond with lots of fun prizes!
It was great fun and I love to see the kiddos in their costumes!
I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!
To all of you who are in the path of Sandy, you are in our prayers and we are thinking of you and hoping for the best outcome for you!
