Here is a fun little idea that you could make for your family on Valentines Day for breakfast…or I would dare say that they would love them any day of the year! :)
These are super easy to make and they make something ordinary into something super ordinary! All you need is a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls…Carefully unwind each roll into long strip of dough, leaving center coiled. Roll the unrolled end of each strip in toward center, making two equal coils. Pull the middle of strip down to make a point, forming heart shape; pinch point. I used the large cinnamon rolls, but you could use the smaller ones and make more of them at one time!
Bake according to directions on the package. I put the frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls into a small ziplock bag and snipped the corner off. Pipe the frosting onto the heart rolls. You can then add sprinkles if desired. Of course, you could use your favorite cinnamon roll recipe and make these from scratch, but I am all about lazy easy!Do you know anyone that would not feel loved if you put this in front of them! :-)
I do not think you need to wait for a special occasion to make these fun rolls…why not make any day a special day?
Love this idea…..thanks for sharing!
