June 2025 Ministering Handout

Happy June everyone!  Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  Summer is in full bloom here in Utah.  I have all of my flowers and a small garden planted!  I even have hummingbirds visiting the feeder…life is good!

For the ministering handout this month I chose the talk from Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, titled “By This All Will Know That You Are My Disciples”

May 2025 Ministering Handout

Happy May everyone and happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there!  

May is always a busy month with graduations, dance recitals, choir performances, baseball games and just working outside in the yard!  But I love it!

This month for the ministering handout, I chose the talk from Sister Tamara W. Runia, titled, “Your Repentance Doesn’t Burden Jesus Christ; It Brightens His Joy”

If I put both my arms up in the air, do remember her talk?!  She had such a great message, and it spoke to me, and I know a lot of other people!

April 2025 Ministering Handout

Happy April everyone! 

Are  you all ready for April Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?  I am! 

Also, we get to celebrate Easter and all the glorious blessings that the Savior’s resurrection brings.  It is a wonderful time of year!  The weather is getting a little warmer, the spring flowers are all popping up and the sun is shining!

This month, I chose one of my favorite all-time talks about Easter.  It is from Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, titled , “Sunday Will Come”.

March 2025 Ministering Handout

Happy March everyone!  Hope you are all doing well and looking forward to a wonderful new month!  I am lucky to have you all here and I appreciate your sweet support!

But I am going to be scaling back a little bit now, I will still do the message card as well as a blank card, but I am not going to show a small gift idea unless I have something new and original. As I am a full-time care giver now, I need to scale back a little bit.  Occasionally I will try to give ideas, but I know that you have many ideas of your own.

This month I chose this quote from Neil L Anderson.  It is from his talk last conference, titled, “The Triumph of Hope”:  “As we strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ, we see beyond our struggles to the blessings and promises of eternity. Like a light whose brilliance grows, hope brightens the darkened world, and we see our glorious future.” 

As a caregiver this quote gives me great hope!

Nov 2024 Ministering Handout

Welcome to the month of Gratitude!  Fall is finally in the air here in Utah and as a result I am a happy camper!

This month I chose gratitude for the theme! 

And I concentrated on being grateful for a living prophet.  I used the prophet’s talk that he just gave in the Oct 2024 General Conference.  It is titled “The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again”.   Didn’t you just LOVE this talk?  I am so excited for when the Savior comes again…I just worry about what more we will have to go through before that happens!  But President Nelson assures us that “The Best is Yet to Come!”

Sept 2024 Ministering Handout

Happy September everyone!  Are you ready for fall?  I know I am.  We have had a very hot summer and I am ready for a cool down!  

This month I found a fun little item at Trader Joe’s and knew that I wanted to use it in my ministering handout.  It is gummy Bacon and Eggs…and no they do not taste like bacon and eggs, they are cherry and mango!  They are sooo yummy! Continue reading →

August 2024 Ministering Handout

Well, here we are “Rollin’ into August!  Where does the time go?  I guess it just flies by when you are having fun, right?! 

August is always a busy month with back to school, last minute vacations, canning, and yard work, but I love it!  I have been having fun with my yard this year with the flowers that I planted from seeds in my greenhouse last winter.  I have learned a lot and it seems like gardening is a lot of trial and error…but that is what is fun about it!
