Sept 2024 Ministering Handout

Sept 2024 Ministering Handout

Happy September everyone!  Are you ready for fall?  I know I am.  We have had a very hot summer and I am ready for a cool down!

This month I found a fun little item at Trader Joe’s and knew that I wanted to use it in my ministering handout.  It is gummy Bacon and Eggs…and no they do not taste like bacon and eggs, they are cherry and mango!  They are sooo yummy! The message that I chose is titled: “Peacemakers Needed” by President Nelson.

The quote that I used is,

“…the pure love of Christ is the answer to the contention that ails us today. Charity propels us “to bear one another’s burdens” rather than heap burdens upon each other. The pure love of Christ allows us “to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things”-especially in tense situations.”

As for the tag, it says:  Love & Charity go together like Bacon & Eggs! Here is the message card.  It is formatted to a 4 x6 size.

For those of you that would like a jpeg image, simply right click on the image, go to “save image as”, then save in a folder of your choice.  You can print from there or you can send it out to your favorite photo processing center.

All images are for personal use only.  This is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate.  Or if you are in need of a cute card, handout, note or tag this might just fit the bill! These tags go perfect with the package of bacon and eggs gummies, if you can find them. But there are also blank tags if you want to create your own sayings.

Of course, if you cannot find the bacon and eggs gummies you could do anything that goes together like… milk and cookies, or peanut butter and jelly, peas and carrots…you get the idea!

    1. juanita, Thank you for taking the time to write your kind words. They mean a lot to me. Tell the Relief Society sisters of the Allende Ward how much the Lord loves them and appreciates all the ministering service they do. Happy Ministering!

  2. Hi Rita. I love your handouts and have been using them for several years now. I always get wonderful feed back regarding them. One of my sisters was reassigned to another minister but said she misses the handouts so I’m still sending them to her. I always add an embellishment to the handouts, i.e. paper flower, ribbons, etc. to “make them mine”. haha
    Thanks again,
    Rita Montgomery

    1. Rita, I love that you are adding your own touch to your handouts and that you are still sending them to past sisters! You are amazing, keep up the great work. Happy Ministering!

  3. I look forward each month to your beautiful creations. I am not artistic so I appreciate the work you put into these lovely messages so that I can share with others.

    1. Linda, thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me. I am grateful that you are sharing with others. Happy Ministering!

    1. Lorie, You will need to import the blank image into a program that allows you to add your own text, such as Presentations. I have used my Silhouette program to edit also. Once you have the image imported you can add your own text and edit it to any font and size that you like. Hope this helps. If you are not familiar with how to do this, you could also just print the blank image and write it in your own handwriting which makes it your own personalized card! Hope you have a great day…Happy Ministering!
