I have a real weakness for flowers…as some of you may already know! So when I saw a rolled flower made out of scrapbook paper, I just had to figure out how to make them and then make a fun spring bouquet to go with my Easter decor! These are super easy to make! All you need is some double sided scrapbook paper, floral wire and hot glue!1. Cut paper with the following pattern or make your own fun version! Start at the more pointed end of the pattern and hot glue to the wire. Start wrapping around the wire, tightly at first and then a little more loosely towards the end.
2. Keep the bottom edge of the flower pretty straight, letting the top part go up and down with the wavy cuts in the paper.
3. Keep wrapping and gluing as you go until you reach the bump at the end of the pattern. Wrap this around the bottom of the flower to finish it off! You can add paper leaves or silk leaves if desired.
Here is the pattern for the flowers. To save, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder. You can then print as many copies as the number of flowers that you want to make. You can also right click over the image and go to “copy image” then open your favorite program such as word or presentations, right click again and go to “paste”.
This is a fun way to make a whole spring bouquet! Just add some baby’s breath for filler and you have a fun bouquet. You could also do a fun summer one with yellows and reds or even a darling patriotic bouquet!I put my flowers in a soda bottle that I filled with rice! I tied a big “spring” bow onto the bottle and sat back and admired! :)
Do you have some old scrapbook paper laying around that is begging to be made into something beautiful? This is a fun, easy, inexpensive project that could brighten up your home, a friend, or could be tied onto a gift for a darling bow!
So pretty! Will make some…thanks for the cute idea! Happy Spring to you!
Roswitha, Hope you have as much fun as I did making this bouquet! Happy Spring to you too!

Thank You Thank You THANK YOU Rita! I need to start decorating and adding some color to our home. I have a “few boxes” of scrapbook paper so this project is perfect for me. I might just do it for my daughter, daughters in law, Mom, etc… for Mother’s Day too. Unless you’re going to tempt me with something else? Thanks for all your wonderful ideas.
