August 2022 Ministering Handouts

August 2022 Ministering Handouts

Hey everyone!  Happy August!  Can you believe it?  Our grandkids are going to be back in school in a couple of weeks!!  Whaaat???  Where did the summer go?

Sometimes I can be a little bit of a broken record, when it comes to back to school time.  I have such a strong testimony about education and developing our talents.  And every year at this time, I start thinking about these things.

August 2021 Ministering Handouts

It is already time for the August 2021 Ministering Handouts!

Every August, I get excited for all the back to school supplies.  Is there anyone else out there that is the same way?  I love all the new notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, and colored pencils.  I have to see if there are any new items that I might NEED!

With that said, I decided to do the ministering handout around a quote from President Nelson about learning. Continue reading

Nursery Decor and More!

A couple of weeks ago, I did a post for Tater Tots and Jello with a paper line that was sent to me.  I chose to do some Nursery Decor and more!

I was so honored to be a part of her fun challenge to see what I could make with the fun box of goodies  that she sent to me…it was just like Christmas when I opened the box!

Rolled Paper Flowers

Fun Spring Banner!

The weather here in Utah has been unseasonably warm, while I know the people in the East are buried in snow…It is crazy!  But our warm weather has gotten the spring bug in me.  I have been out working in my yard, I cut off all my raspberry plants and raked all the leaves and junk out of my garden.  I still need to trim all my old perennials and get the fertilizer going!  But I am enjoying this beautiful weather to work in.

This year, I did not put out any Valentines decorations, so I am ready to get the spring/Easter stuff out already!  I went to the American Crafts scrapbook sale with my friend, Sharee, and we got some really fun papers, so I just had to make something with it!  This is what I came up with!spring banner Continue reading

Anniversary Scrapbook

My husband and I just celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary!?  How can that be…when I still consider myself to be a forty-something?  The numbers just don’t crunch!

I decided to make a little scrapbook because of a fun little idea that I saw on Pinterest, it uses all kinds of numbers and I knew that my husband would love it!Anniversary Book Continue reading

May 2014 Visiting Teaching Handout

First of all I have to apologize for the troubles that we had yesterday!  A lot of you let me know that you could not see any of the images or navigate around the blog, and I appreciate all of the support I recieved.  I think that we are now fixed up again!  Thanks for your patience  during  our new facelift!

This month for your visiting teaching message to your sisters, you will need to pick your favorite conference talk to teach.  There are so many good ones again this time that it is hard to pick! :)

Since it is soon going to be gardening time around here, I thought this would be a fun theme to work around, so I made my regular card, a blank card and a seed packet!May 2014 VT handout
