A couple of weeks ago, I did a post for Tater Tots and Jello with a paper line that was sent to me. I chose to do some Nursery Decor and more!
I was so honored to be a part of her fun challenge to see what I could make with the fun box of goodies that she sent to me…it was just like Christmas when I opened the box!
I have a real weakness for flowers…as some of you may already know! So when I saw a rolled flower made out of scrapbook paper, I just had to figure out how to make them and then make a fun spring bouquet to go with my Easter decor! Continue reading
The weather here in Utah has been unseasonably warm, while I know the people in the East are buried in snow…It is crazy! But our warm weather has gotten the spring bug in me. I have been out working in my yard, I cut off all my raspberry plants and raked all the leaves and junk out of my garden. I still need to trim all my old perennials and get the fertilizer going! But I am enjoying this beautiful weather to work in.
This year, I did not put out any Valentines decorations, so I am ready to get the spring/Easter stuff out already! I went to the American Crafts scrapbook sale with my friend, Sharee, and we got some really fun papers, so I just had to make something with it! This is what I came up with! Continue reading
Last week I was invited to a SNAP event for bloggers that was held at the American Crafts Warehouse Sale! I was so excited to go that I almost went a week early! My friend had to tell me that it was not for another week! :)
#acwarehousesale This sale is in Orem, Utah at the old K-Mart building, so if any of you that are local would like to visit this sale I heard that they have extended it until end of January! If you have any scrapbook lovers on your Christmas list, this would be the perfect place to find all kinds of goodies to fill that need!
I was able to really stock up on some fun items…look at all of this goodness! Continue reading
My husband and I just celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary!? How can that be…when I still consider myself to be a forty-something? The numbers just don’t crunch!
But I am the luckiest girl alive because I am truly married to my BEST Friend!
I decided to make a little scrapbook because of a fun little idea that I saw on Pinterest, it uses all kinds of numbers and I knew that my husband would love it! Continue reading
Last week the kids were out of school for spring break, so I thought that it would be fun to make a pinata for our Easter party with the two grandkids that I tend…
WHAT WAS I THINKING?
I have some really exciting news to share with you before I get to my regular post! This little old blog is getting a new face lift! I am working with my web designer and I am really excited about the new changes that will be coming soon. We are going to have a fresh new clean look and hopefully it will easier to move about my site!
So stay tuned…
Instead of doing my regular Thursday’s Thought today, I decided that it would be fun to do a paper crafting project! And what girl wouldn’t love having 15
carats carrots for Easter?
Here is a fun Easter project for kids and adults alike! It is a darling puzzle made from Popsicle sticks!
This weekend is the General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormons). I love conference weekend and look forward to it every six months! For those of you that want to know what conference is all about…you can check it out here.
I love conference weekend, because we can stay home and watch it on TV (in our jamies, if we choose to!) Sometimes we have all of our families together and sometimes my husband and I just watch it together. But there is always a great spirit in our home and I love the messages that are taught and the things that I can learn!
I have already downloaded and printed my conference packet from Sugardoodle and I have my conference notebook ready to go.. to take notes…doodle…and just enjoy the weekend!
It is always a must to have some great treats or food while watching conference! :)
So I decided that I would make some fun tags to go along with your conference goodies! These are fun to pass along to your VT sisters, or to make for your family, or friends! You can tie them onto individual serving size packages for everyone, or make one big package for the whole family!
