In following with my theme of Organization this year, I decided to do a Bathroom Update!
I am trying to go through one room at a time and organize it.
This is our little half bath that is on the main floor.
I just wanted to do a little refresh in this room without doing a total makeover!
With just a few little changes you can totally make over a room without breaking the bank!
Look at the difference!
The walls were painted a warm grey color.
It is a Behr paint called “Off the Grid”.
This is a small room and I was a little bit worried that this color would make the room look smaller, but it did not! It is a very warm grey and I love it.
If I were to repaint my entire house, this is the color that I would use…I like it that much!
Changing the light fixture, mirror and hardware can make a world of difference!
This industrial light fixture comes from Costco, the hardware from Home depot and the Mirror from At Home.
Lucky for me, I have a very talented son that did my electrical and plumbing jobs! He changed out the light fixture. Also switched my plug and switches from ivory to white.

Then he installed this new vintage faucet:
Which I absolutely love…it goes wonderful with the industrial lights!
My son also swapped out all of the old handles and towel rack etc.
So with just a few minor changes, I got a new Bathroom Update!
As far as the organizing went, I just simply put some baskets under the sink for the extra hand towels and the cleaning supplies.
Baskets can make a world of difference when organizing your cupboards and closets!
So that is my Bathroom Update.
Simple little changes can make a world of difference!
Keeping with a simpler, cleaner decor, I added just a little bit of greenery.
The cotton boll wreath is some floral stems that I found at a boutique and simply wired them together to make a wreath! Easy Peasy.
I am loving this simple clean look and we were able to do it without a lot of work or money!
Now I need to move on to the next room!
Organizing is very refreshing because you do a lot of purging along the way!
