I finally got all of my flowers planted…got a fun chalk art on my chalkboard door and found a fun orange accent for my crate. So now I think that I can just sit back and relax and enjoy it all summer…right? :)I found this fun wood plaque at Michael’s and the cute owl cut-out. I brought them home and spray painted the plaque orange to match my new re-do chairs and the owl gray to match the table.
I got the summer time download in the Silhouette store and simply cut it out of white vinyl. This was a super easy project to make and I love how it added a POP of orange color to the chalkboard door!
I love how fun this chalkboard door is. I can change it out anytime that I want to…or whenever it rains…which ever one comes first! :) This door has been a fun accent in this little corner and I love how easy it was to make!
I showed my orange crate a couple of days ago and I was looking for a better orange accent to go on the middle shelf….
This is what I came up with! Another fun little chalkboard sign! It was already painted orange, so all I had to do is write something on it and add a cute little bug!
I can see the kids writing notes on this little sign, but that is great, because grandma’s always love little notes!
So there is my Chalk Art for the moment.
I will do a yard tour next week and show you some of my newest flower additions, that I am really excited about. Hope you all have a great weekend! I have a couple of grandsons staying at my house, so it is going to be PARTY TIME this weekend! :) Well, as much as this old grandma can party!
Thanks for Visiting!

I love the whimsy you always add. Thanks for sharing!
