For Christmas a few weeks ago, we decided to give everyone a gift of an activity rather than a wrapped present. For the granddaughters, I am doing a baking lesson/sleepover party! They got a baking kit and for our baking party we are going to learn how to make frosted sugar cookies and decorated cupcakes! The little girls have been asking for a grandma sleepover again for quite awhile, so I decided that we could combine the baking lessons with a sleepover. They were very excited!
I thought that it would be fun to make an invitation for each of them to make it official and decided that I would share a blank invitation with you! This would be a fun invite for any winter party, activity or meeting etc., that you might be having. To save the invite as a jpeg, just right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder. You can then print or send out to your favorite photo processing center. This is formatted to a 4 x 6″ size.
Here is the PDF download: winter invite
Maybe it would be fun to have a luncheon, or get together with some friends just to brighten up some of these dreary winter days! Or perhaps you have a meeting that you are planning and a fun invite might be just the thing to get everyone excited about it!
Hope that you are all having a great Monday!
I love this! we are doing heart sugar cookie baking lesson for our RS and Laurels. I’m hoping you might have some cute Valentine Bland invite that I could use for this activity! You are so talented! (or tell me what website you use to create it on) (i can teach myself how,,,sort of!) ha ha
Thanks for your efforts you put into your blog! I love it!
XOXO
The program that I use to design my printables is called Scrapbook Max and most of the images come from Just So Scrappy.
Great ideas! thank you!
What did you do for the boys! Thanks!
The big boys (dad’s) and the little boys are all going to a Utah Jazz game and dinner. The little boys all got a Jazz shirt to wear to the game! They were as excited as the little girls!
Oh how fun!! What a great idea. They will remember this forever. What a wonderful way to make a memory!
Thanks, Kathy, I hope that we will have lots of fun. The girls were excited just to get their invitation, so I know that anything we do…they will love!
What darling idea. Just wondering at what age do you start the kids sleeping over and having a baking party?
The granddaughters that I am having sleep over range in ages 5-9, and I think that they will all do great! :)
