Thursday’s Thought

I have not done a Thursday’s Thought for quite awhile, so I think it is time!

This is a fun thought for the month of March with rainbows.  It does not have a pot of gold in it, but it can be worth it’s weight in gold if we were all to do it!  :)rainbow-thought Continue reading

April 2016 Visiting Teaching Handout

It’s time for the April 2016 Visiting Teaching Handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

This month the theme is “Daughters of Our Eternal Father”.  I chose the quote from Carole M. Stephens that talks about that we all belong to and are needed in the family of God.  I love the question that was at the end of this article, “How does knowing that you are a daughter of God affect your decisions?”   That really makes you stop and think, does it not?April 2016 VT Continue reading

O come let us adore him

I love this time of year when we think more about others and we have gratitude in our hearts for all that we have been blessed with.  There is much to be thankful for this Christmas season.  Look around you today and see if there is someone you can help…even it is with a friendly smile, letting someone in line in front of you, paying it forward to someone, doing a service to someone in need, or a million other things that I am sure you can think of!

Hope You Have a Great Weekend!

Is everyone getting their homes all decorated for the holidays and all of your shopping, crafting, and holiday baking done?  We had our Relief Society progressive dinner last night and so now I am getting ready for our Sinterklaas Party this weekend, after that I think I can get to my projects and my baking!  :)  Tis the Most Wonderful Time of the Year…or so I keep telling myself!  :)

Thanks for visiting, hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Be The Good

Be The Good

I decided that my thought for this week should be: “Be The Good”, in lieu of what is going on in the world this week.  It is really easy to get discouraged and wonder what is ever going to become of some of the world turmoil, but we need to remember that we can all “Be The Good” just with the attitude that we have!Be The Good

This would be a great thought to print and/or frame.  To print as a jpeg, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can print your own, or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  This printable is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.  For those of you that would like the PDF format, just click on the link below:

Be the good

I would like to challenge each one of you that read this post, to have a positive attitude today, to go out of your way to say hi to someone… and to give your smile to every person you meet today!  This small act can truly change someone’s day.  If you want to carry it a step further, do a kind act of service today.  This could be for someone you know, in your family or friends, or it could be for a complete stranger.  It will make you feel good and I know that the person you serve will be happier too!

Just imagine what the world would be like if every single person did this!  :)  I know that  there are still going to be problems in the world and trials in each of our own lives, but if we can just stop for a minute or two and think of those around us it will make our own little corner of the world a better place!

Thanks for Visiting today!  Hope your day is a great one!

July 2015 Visiting Teaching

July 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout

Here is my July 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout.

I cannot believe that it is July already!  I am having a hard time keeping up with summer and trying to get in all the fun activities that I want to do!  :)   I took last week off and I spent one of those days with my foot on ice!  I do not know exactly what I did, but I pulled a muscle or tendon or something in my foot.  (I know…I’m terribly coordinated!)  It is doing much better now, but I still have a bit of a limp.  I had better get it better real soon because I am going to be chasing a 2 year old around the rest of the week!  Well, so much about me…

This month the visiting teaching message for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is:  Divine Attributes of Jesus Christ:  Forgiving and Merciful.  You can read the entire message here.   I chose to focus on President Uchtdorf’s message.  I absolutely love this message…because after all aren’t we all in need of forgiveness??

Gardening is Just Another Day at the Plant

Today I have a  fun little thought that would be a great gift for all you gardeners out there!  I saw this saying and it just made me laugh out loud!  :)

Gardening-is-just-another-day-at-the-Plant-000-Page-1
This would be a fun gift for your favorite gardener, or the person that is a wanna be gardener!

This would be great to do as a photo block like I did here.  Or you could simply put this in a frame and put it out on your patio table!  This is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.  If you want to do a photo block remember to develop it with a matte finish, not glossy!  If you want the JPEG format or photo format, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  For those of you that would like the PDF download, just click on the link:

I hope that you all have a great weekend…and that you get to spoil all of those great fathers out there and let them know how much you love and appreciate them!

Thanks for visiting today!

Thursday’s Thought-It’s all Good

Here is my newest installment of the Thursday’s Thought!

I saw this saying on a plaque when I was with the girls on our “Girl’s Weekend” a few months ago and I thought that this would be a fun one to frame.  You could also print this and put it on a wood block to make it look like a canvas print.  If you do that, just be sure to print your photo in a matte finish!  I did it in black and white so that it could go with any color decor.  This is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.It's-all-Good-000-Page-1To print as a jpeg, or photo, right click over image and go to “save image as”, then save in a folder.  You can then print it or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  For those of you that would like a PDF download click on this link:

it’s all good

This is a great print to frame and would perfect for gifts, home decor, office decor, or for a fun teacher gift.  With all of the end of the year gifts that you need, (school, dance, sports etc.) this is a perfect little thank you gift!

I would like to make a canvas block  with this and I can think of several places and people that this could go to!  :)

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you are having a “GOOD” Thursday!
