I am way excited about my project for today! I found this at a little boutique a few weeks ago, but you could totally make your own and it would not be very hard to do! I am in love with the concept of this banner!
So “Velcome” to my Lab!I bought these cute little triangle shaped chalkboard. They came with 15 of them in the set! So all I have to do is string together how ever many I need to spell out what I want to have on my banner. It came with some jute and I simply strung them together…
I then wrote what I wanted it to say and then of course I had to tie it with ribbons between each of the letters! (of course!)Here is a blurry picture of the doorway where this is hanging. It is from the back door into my kitchen! I think that it is very “Velcoming” don’t you? This project would be very simple to make. Simply buy the triangles with the holes already drilled in them. I have seen these at several different hobby stores. Paint them with the chalkboard paint and you are all set! I like that my set came with 15 boards, because there are are not too many things that you will want to spell that require more than 15 boards. An if you do, write a word on one or two of them like I did with the “to” and “my” boards. I can think of so many different ways that I can use this banner for! They could be used for any holiday, party, gathering, or just as a fun sign! When it is not being used, it simply stacks on top of each other and I will put it in a ziplock bag!
What would you do with a chalkboard banner?
