July 2024 Ministering Handout
Happy July everyone! Hope your summer is going great! We are HOT here is Utah, but what do we expect when we live in a desert?!
I love July because we get to celebrate the freedom of our country on the 4th and we also get to celebrate the Pioneers coming to Utah on the 24th! Two fantastic reasons to celebrate! I have my flags out in my flower pots,
I am waving my star quilt in my house,
and I got to attend our little local parade last week with the flag leading the way! We have so many reasons to celebrate our freedom.
This month I chose a quote instead of a conference talk.
The quote “May we think of freedom not as the right to do as we please but as the opportunity to do what is right” is attributed to Peter Marshall. Marshall was a Scottish-American preacher and chaplain of the United States Senate from 1947 until his death in 1949. His words encourage us to view freedom not merely as a license for self-indulgence, but as a chance to make ethical choices. 🌟
This is the message card. It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size. For those of you that would like the jpeg image, simply right click over the image. Go to “save image as”. Then save in a folder of your choice. You can print from there or you can send it out to your favorite photo processing center.

Here is the blank card. This is great for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you are in need of a cute card, invite, handout, or tag, this could work for you. You simply add your own text and you are good to go!
Since it is the middle of the summer my daughter told me it would be fun to make some red, white and blue popsicles! So that is what I did! I ordered molds on Amazon but they have not arrived yet! Amazon is great until it’s not! So I ended up going to 4 different stores before I found any popsicle molds that would work! I ended up finding these at Home Goods.

There are many recipes out there in cyberspace, so search for one that fits your family. I went for fast and easy and somewhat healthy!
