May 2021 Ministering Handouts

Hey everyone!  I hope you are ready for the May 2021 Ministering Handouts!

Is  everyone is doing well and having a great sunshiny day!  If not outside, then at least in your heart.

This month I chose President Nelson’s talk: “Christ is Risen; Faith in Him Will Move Mountains.”  This is a beautiful talk that was just given at General Conference.

Don’t you love his upbeat positive attitude and his encouraging way of getting us all to try a little harder and do a little better?

Here is the message card with one of the quotes from that talk.

To print as a jpeg image, right click over image.  Go to “save image as”.  Then save in a folder.  You can print from there, or send it out to your favorite photo processing place.  All images are formatted to a 4 x 6 size.

As always…these images are for personal use only.  They are not for resale.
This blank card is perfect for those of you that would like to translate.  Or, if you are in need of a cute card, note, invite or handout, this would work for you!Along with the message card, are these fun little sunshine tags!  There are 2 to a card, and you can either cut the card in half or you can trim around the oval.

These are fun to tie to a plate of cookies, like I did.  Or you could just buy one cookie and tie this cute tag to it.  You could also find a fun springy treat, a trinket, a candle, lotion or some lemony candies!  But, it is great to just give the card, or send it in the mail!

I have been learning how to make sugar cookies with royal icing, so this is what I made for my sisters this month.  They are not perfect, by any means…I am still learning, but I know that none of them will judge me!

So that is my May 2021 Ministering Handouts.

I hope that all of you are having a great day.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the month of May is always busy?  Even though all of my children are grown and out of the house, I still have all kinds of dance festivals, music recitals, graduation ceremonies and sports activities to attend!

I am not complaining by any means…it is thrilling that we are able to get out and start doing all of these things again!

Please remember, as always, that it is your sisters that are important…not the handout!  Make sure that each of the sisters you visit know how much you love and care about them!

Hope you have a Sunshiny Day!

  1. Those cookies are darling. A work of art. You are to hard on yourself. You did a beautiful job in making them. Thanks for the great quotes each month. They are perfect handouts.

    1. Debra, thank you so much for taking the time to write your kind comment! I really appreciate your sweet words and your support. I have had a fun time learning how to make the cookies and now we are finally able to get together again with our family, I am going to be doing cookie classes with my daughters and granddaughters! It is such a fun hobby and I will just enjoy the time together in my kitchen! Hope you have a wonderful day! Happy Ministering!

  2. I marvel that you have continued to do these handouts and I am so appreciative of your monthly gift. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents. Those cookies are so cute.

    1. Teresa, Thank you for your kind comment and continued support. I really appreciate both. I enjoy making the handouts, so will continue to do so for the time being. Hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Ministering!

  3. I love sharing your beautiful quotes and creations with my ministering sisters each month. (And your cookies are beautiful!) This one particularly touched me. I am currently going through a miscarriage of twins. I’ve been really sad, but I know I can trust in Heavenly Father.

    1. Jennifer, I am so sorry! That is a hard one to go through. My daughter had a miscarriage and I remember some of those feelings. I hope that you can heal quickly and that you can have the faith that you need to climb that mountain. May the Lord bless you.

  4. I have been using pink polka dot for years and I let everyone know about the awesome handout every month. Thank you for all the work you do every months handout.

    1. Nancy, Thank you so much for taking the time to write your kind comment. I appreciate you sweet words and your wonderful Support! Hope you have a great weekend. Happy Ministering!

  5. Thank you for all your cards and tags! I so appreciate having them
ready to print and add to a little treat or item. w
We have been blessed because we have not missed leaving a thought on our sisters steps with your uplifting thought! Thank you
for the special touch we can add to let them know we are thinking of them, even though it is not an in person visit. Then we each check on them between weeks. None of them have come back to church, just watching on zoom. Thank you again!

    1. Gwen, You are welcome. Thank you for sharing the way you are continuing your ministering through covid. It is a great way to let your sisters know you care, by leaving the card on the doorstep. Happy Ministering!

  6. Rita, Thank you so much for your monthly thought cards. I love them and use them a lot. I do have a question though…sometimes I download the blank one so I can write individual thoughts to each of the sisters….but I often have a hard time actually being able to type my message on the card. What do I need to do so I can do that?

    1. Korine, You need to import the blank card into a word processing program, such as Word, Presentations or Open Office. That allows you to type in a text box. Then you can alter the size, font, placement, etc any way that you would like. Hope that helps. Happy Ministering!

    1. Linda, You are welcome. Thank you for taking the time to write your kind comment. I appreciate you! Happy Ministering!
