June 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout

It is time once again for the visiting teaching handout for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints (The Mormons).

This month the lesson is on Virtue, click on the link to view the entire message.  There were several quotes that I loved, but I decided to include the ones from President Faust and President Hinckley.
June 2015 VT handoutI thought that it would be fun to do a “berry” theme this month to start out the summer months.  I love the blue and red and green colors of these cards.
June-2015-VT-handout Here is the printable card with the message.  It is formatted to the 4 x 6 size.June-2015-VT-handout-blank This is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate.June-2015-VT-handout-tagI thought it would be fun to make this little tag.  I included a hang tag to add to the corner.  You can make the tag with or with out the hang tag.  I added my hang tag with a brad, but you could also tie it with a ribbon.  (I punched a hole in the top middle to attach it to the strawberries with the ribbon.)

June 2015 VT handoutWishing you a Berry Happy day cardHere is a close-up of the tag with the brad on the hang tag.  I chose to tie up a fresh box of strawberries…because if I cannot have sugar every day…neither can the sisters that I visit teach!  :)  You could also tie this tag to a bag of strawberry gummies, strawberry flavored candy, or just about anything that is strawberry flavored!  Let your imagination go wild!June 2015 VT handoutWishing you a “Berry” happy day!

As always, remember that your visit is more important than the handout.  These ideas as just that…ideas.

Happy Visiting this Month!  Thanks for visiting today!

  1. Wishing you a Berry Happy Day right back. I’ve been giving an angel food cake that I’ve baked, including a box of strawberries and can of RediWHip for birthdays. It’s always a hit. (Well, maybe it wouldn’t with your husband.) I’ll be using these tags for these birthday cakes…….now ain’t that special. LOL

  2. Thanss for all your creative talent and sharing it with us!
You are very sweet and generous to do this!
    We all love them!

  3. Sending a sincere “thank you” for another lovely message all prepared for our ward sisters. You are a great example Rita of providing service to others! May you be blessed for your efforts. You’re appreciated and loved!

  4. I love your site and go to it every month. Could you please separate the blank card from the one with the message for those of us who don’t use it. If you could put two with messages on one page then the blank on another, it would save printing on something unused.

  5. Rita,
You are incredibly talented. I check several different Visiting Teaching sites each month and always seem to pick yours. You do such a great job. I especially appreciate that you allow us the ability to print a blank card so we can customize the quote according to our sisters individual needs. I almost always choose your site for that reason. VT should be personal, not just something that looks beautiful. Thank you for all your time and effort.

    1. Amber, You are welcome. I am always glad when someone can use one of my ideas…so thanks for making my day! Happy visiting this month.
