Summer Fun With Grand Kids

Since summer is coming to a close soon, I thought it would be fun to show our Summer Fun With Grand Kids!

My husband and I have enjoyed our little grandchildren this summer and we had tried to take them in age groups and do something fun with them.

It started with the three older granddaughters and our trip to St. George:

Then my daughter asked if we could keep her son while she went to Girl’s Camp with our oldest granddaughter.

So we decided it would be fun to have the three  8-9 year old boys!  We went swimming at the Lindon Pool with the Lazy River.  They were excited when I told them I was coming in the water with them!!  :)  We had a fun afternoon.  Then we came home ate pizza, made Smore’s and played with cups!

These boys had so much fun playing with these cups!!!  What and fun inexpensive way to entertain boys!We made green pancakes for breakfast the next morning!  Don’t they look super appetizing?  :)

In the morning we swam again and just hung out together.  That afternoon we took a trip to Boondocks!  A boy paradise!

They rode go-carts, boats, did miniature golf and of course arcades!

Boys are always in competition with one another, but for the most part, they all got along and laughed and had a great time.  Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed their laughter!

The next group I had was our 2 five year old cuties!Aren’t they adorable??

We just had a fun day at the park eating a picnic, and playing.  Going to the dollar store for all kinds of goodies and of course swimming on a hot summer day!And here are a few other fun summer moments:

Popsicle’s are a must in the summer time!Along with the water fun!  I got this pool at Wal-mart and the littles have had a great time with it!  (it is a little deflated here, but they didn’t care!)I love all of my grand kids and enjoy spending time with each one of them!

This is our newest little angel and we are so excited to have another baby in the family! Can’t get enough of those cute little cheeks!

So that is some of our Summer Fun with Grand Kids!  What Fun things have you been doing this summer?  I am kind of sad it is almost over, but yet I am ready to get back into a routine!

Hope you are have a wonderful day…Thanks for Visiting!

    1. Judy, I am not sure because I do not have any granddaughters that old yet, but I know my 12 year old granddaughter loves to sew and learn new craft things, she loves to cook and bake in the kitchen, she is interested in drawing and lettering, we love to go on hikes, bike rides, swimming, and just enjoying the outdoors. But it seems to me that they all really just love doing anything as long as I am right there doing it along side of them! :)

    1. Janette, Thank you for your kind comment. You are right about them keeping you young…or at least worn out!!! :) But I love every minute!
