July 2018 Ministering Handout

July 2018 Ministering Handout

Happy almost July!

I don’t know where the time is going, I just know that it is going!!! :)  It is time once again for a new ministering handout!

If you would like to know more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, click on the link.I thought that it would be fun to do a patriotic theme for this month.  Found this quote about loving your countrymen and women and empowering each other!  This is something that is so needed in our world today! Here is the printable 4 x 6 card.  To save as a jpeg image, simply right click over the image.  Go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can print from there or send it out to your favorite photo processing center. And here is a blank one for those of you that would like to translate.  Or if you need a patriotic card, invite or handout!  As always…my printables are for personal use only.  They are not for resale!

For those of you that would like the PDF download, simply click on the link(s) below:

To go with this handout, I decided to knit a dishcloth and then found a patriotic dishtowel to go with it.The directions for making the dishcloth are here

There is a crocheted pattern here.

Found some sparkly stuff at Walmart to put in the top to make them both into a firecracker!  All you do is simply roll it up with the sparkly stuff in the middle and tie it with a ribbon.  Easy Peasy!Varying heights make a fun little grouping!

Of course, if you do not want to make this you could simply add a bag of red, white and blue candies, red and blue fruit, or anything fun that is red, white and blue!  Let your imagination run wild!  :)

So this is my July 2018 Ministering Handout.  As always, please remember that it is the visit that is important…not the handout!   Let your sisters know how much you care about them!

Thanks for Visiting…Happy Ministering!

  1. On the back side, (on the return trip across the back) is it just all knit? And is that counted as a row or are rows just counted when you work the front side of your project. It has been a really long time since I have knitted anything and I have forgotten some of the rules. This is a marvelous little pattern to get me back into the art. Thank you also for continuing to design and print your darling ministering cards. They really help me.

    1. Gogi, It is all knit. When you do the loop over that is where you add the stitches. Knit 2 together, is where the decrees comes from. This is a pretty easy pattern. Hope you can give it a try! Hope you have a great day…and Happy Ministering!
