Chevron Rainbow Ribbons Quilt

Chevron Rainbow Ribbons Quilt

Hi everyone!  Hope you are all having a beautiful spring day today!  I feel like we are finally starting to get back into a bit of a rhythm.

We have our little grandson back home and my husband is steadily improving…so I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel!  I want to say thank you to all of you that have send your love and prayers.   They were very much appreciated.

Today I want to show you a quilt that I just finished!  It was a kit that I have had for years and I finally pulled it out and put it together!

The name  of this quilt is: Chevron Rainbow Ribbons Quilt

The bad thing about showing this quilt, is that the kit is several years old and I am pretty   sure that you would not be able to find it anywhere.

But,  I was able to find a tutorial from the Missouri Star Quilt that shows how to make the squares and how to put a quilt like this together.

You can find that tutorial here. There is a tutorial from Stitches and Sew Forth,  the shop that I bought this quilt from.  It might help you also.  This kit had a fun flower with it.

Simply cut out the petals and applique them on the quilt top before quilting.  Any shape could be used, or a monogram would be fun!A yo-yo circle and a button are a fun way to finish off this flower!  This was my own addition…and I think it finishes the flower off perfectly! An appliqued label is a cute way to document this quilt.  I love adding these labels to all of my quilts now.  It is my form of scrapbooking!!!  :)These colors scream Easter to me.  So I thought it would be perfect to display this quilt all Spring long!!!  It is hanging in my foyer by the front door and I hope that it will welcome all those who come to my home!

So that is my Chevron Rainbow Ribbon Quilt.

Hope you have a wonderful Day…Happy Spring!
