These blackberry peach shakes would be perfect to make to celebrate this Labor Day Weekend.  They are a great taste for the end of the summer!blackberry peach shakeDo you need some of this goodness in your life!  If you don’t have any blackberries…this weekend would be a fun time to visit a farmer’s market!  Or you can buy frozen fruits and make this delicious blackberry peach shake.

I had both fresh peaches and blackberries, but I flash froze both of them so they would last longer.  To flash freeze, just lay your washed, cut fruit out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Freeze the fruit until frozen and then put them in a ziplock bag to store in the freezer.  You can take out whatever amount you want, because they are frozen separately.  I did not have very many peaches this year because of our weird spring weather, but the ones we got were large in size and they were so juicy!  We ate most of them fresh and I only froze one cookie sheet full.  I will have to ration them now!  :)

Do you have a recipe that you like to make with ingredients from your garden?  I would love to hear some of your ideas!

Have a Happy and Safe Weekend!
