Feb 2013 Visiting Teaching Handout

This months visiting teaching message for our church is:

Converted unto the Lord

I chose to use the quote by President Gordon B. Hinckley.

(Does anyone still miss him like I do?)

I love this quote on how to treat new converts, but in a sense are we not all converts?  I think that this quote  is just a good motto to have when dealing with anyone we meet!

I just put some fun Valentines candy in these clear paint cans and added a ribbon and an “XOXO” vinyl to the front of the can.  I know that there are tons of fun Valentine treats out there, so this is just one idea.

Here are the printables for this month.

To print, right click over image and go to “save image as”  then save in a folder of your choice.

You can then print from there.

You can also right click over image and go to “copy image”  then open your favorite program like word or presentations and right click again and go to paste.

These are also formatted to 4 x6″ so you could send them to your favorite photo processing center if you choose.

Here is the blank one for those of you who would like to translate the message, or if you just want a fun card, you can print anything on this blank card!

  1. Oh Rita I absolutely love it! I almost sent you an email asking when the Feb VT would be coming out. I am really excited as I have been taken off writing letters and actually visiting with the sisters. I can’t wait. Your designs are beautiful as ever my dear friend..just like you.

    1. Yeah! I am so glad. Thank you for your kind comment and your sweet support! I appreciate hearing from you, it makes my day!

  2. Thank you for sharing your talents. I used your January VT card to contact about 31 sisters who keep getting missed. It is hard on sisters whose VTers do not go out. We need to understand that we are our Savior’s Hands in this work. Thank you again for your kindness. Hugs

    1. Ketena,
Wow oh wow! You must have been very busy to contact 31 sisters! You need a big hug! Thank you so much for all the work you are doing!

    1. I just save the image to a “pictures” file and then upload mine to my Costco account to have them printed. If the place you have your pictures printed has that option, you can just do that. Otherwise you can save it to a jump drive and take it in to your photo finishing place. They are already formatted to the 4 x 6 size, so all you have to do is print them. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

  3. I have a male investigator, who loves our dedication and commitment to each other. These and other things I share: “Shows me you all really do what you believe and belive there’s value in doing it. You’re not just Sunday morning Christians”. I’m helping him with family history. When in service to others…

    Love my dear sisters
