April 2017 Visiting Teaching Handout
It is time again for a new visiting teaching handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
June was a very busy month and I cannot believe that it is soon going to be the 4th of July! Summer is going by way too fast…but with that said, it is time for the July 2016 Visiting Teaching Handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
It’s time for the April 2016 Visiting Teaching Handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
This month the theme is “Daughters of Our Eternal Father”. I chose the quote from Carole M. Stephens that talks about that we all belong to and are needed in the family of God. I love the question that was at the end of this article, “How does knowing that you are a daughter of God affect your decisions?” That really makes you stop and think, does it not? Continue reading →
I cannot believe that it is July already! I am having a hard time keeping up with summer and trying to get in all the fun activities that I want to do! :) I took last week off and I spent one of those days with my foot on ice! I do not know exactly what I did, but I pulled a muscle or tendon or something in my foot. (I know…I’m terribly coordinated!) It is doing much better now, but I still have a bit of a limp. I had better get it better real soon because I am going to be chasing a 2 year old around the rest of the week! Well, so much about me…
This month the visiting teaching message for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is: Divine Attributes of Jesus Christ: Forgiving and Merciful. You can read the entire message here. I chose to focus on President Uchtdorf’s message. I absolutely love this message…because after all aren’t we all in need of forgiveness??

Today I have the first visiting teaching handout for 2015! Can you believe that it is 2015!! I am still trying to get myself back into a schedule and get organized for the new year, how about you?
This month the message for visiting teaching from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is: The Attributes of Jesus Christ: Obedient Son.
There are a couple of different quotes in this message and both of them are excellent…but I chose the one from D. Todd Christofferson…”As we walk in obedience to the principles and commandments of the gospel of Jesus Christ…” I love the part, “Obedience gives us greater control over our lives, greater capacity to come and go, to work and create.” It is true that the more obedient we are the more control we have in our lives.

How is everyone doing this Monday morning? Did you all have a great Thanksgiving? I hope you did…my husband and I went to Park City to a wonderful restaurant for our Thanksgiving dinner…it was delightful! All of our kids went to their in-laws this year, so this is our off year! I did cook a turkey breast for our Sunday dinner, so my husband can now have his leftover turkey sandwiches! :)
This month for the visiting teaching message for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it is called “The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Prince of Peace”. I cannot think of a better message for the month of December! I chose to highlight the scripture; John 16:33, where the Savior himself is talking to us. Continue reading →
