Today I have the March Visiting Teaching Handout for Relief Society for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
For Christmas a few weeks ago, we decided to give everyone a gift of an activity rather than a wrapped present. For the granddaughters, I am doing a baking lesson/sleepover party! They got a baking kit and for our baking party we are going to learn how to make frosted sugar cookies and decorated cupcakes! The little girls have been asking for a grandma sleepover again for quite awhile, so I decided that we could combine the baking lessons with a sleepover. They were very excited!
I thought that it would be fun to make an invitation for each of them to make it official and decided that I would share a blank invitation with you! Continue reading
Happy Thursday Everyone! I hope that you are all well and that you are having a good week. Today’s thought is a fun one that you could print and put in your laundry room…because who doesn’t need to brighten up their laundry room!! :)This is formatted to an 8 x 10 size. If you would like to print it as a jpeg, right click over the image and go to “save image as”. Then save in a folder and you can print from there, or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.
Here is the pdf download: warning-she who does the laundry
I have been busy working on a Relief Society Stake Women’s Conference. I am on the committee for the decorations and we have finally decided exactly what we are doing and now we are busily working on all of the details. We are going with a nautical theme because the scripture is Ether 12:4 and it talks about “anchors” We have a blue and gold color scheme and I hope that it will be pretty! I have been thinking about it for several months now, so it is good to have it finally start coming together! I will take pictures that day to share with you. It is in a couple more weeks.
I hope that everyone is having a great week! Thanks for visiting today! :)
I decided that it is time to start with the Christmas ideas…so here is your first printable for Christmas for this year!
Today I have a fun Monster Mash mix to make. This is perfect for any of your fall gatherings, football night, Halloween party, neighbor treat, visiting teaching, teacher gift, FHE or just a great sweet and salty mix for yourself!
These are cute in a mason jar: Continue reading
Before I begin my post with the visiting teaching message, I would like to wish you all a very safe and fun Labor Day! It is always fun to celebrate the last summer weekend and I hope that you get to spend it with someone you love…doing something that you love to do! I spent the weekend at my most favorite boutique…Swiss Days! I will share some of my finds with you tomorrow. But let’s get on with the visiting teaching message for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints:
I can’t believe it…fall is right around the corner. My big maple tree is just starting to turn red, the kids are back in school, Swiss Days is coming this weekend, (yeah!) it is canning season and the air is finally starting to cool down a bit! So I guess that it time to start with some fall projects and fall thoughts! :)
This thought just makes me smile because I think that I would probably like to sit on a pumpkin alone, too!
Even though there are still a few days left in August…Happy Fall Y’all! :)
