Our 24th of July Family Party

We had a fun 24th of July family party last weekend.  It was great because we had our entire family!  That does not seem to happen as much as it used to when the kids were all smaller…funny how that happens!

We went up to our family property for a little fishing, 4-wheeling, games and a great time being with one another.July 24th,2015 Continue reading

Happy 24th of July!

Today is Utah’s State Holiday!

 It is Pioneer Day!

This is the day that the pioneers came into to Utah to settle the Salt Lake Valley.  They later went out into the surrounding areas and settled many towns from St. George to Logan.  There is a lot of  Mormon heritage that comes from those early days of settlement.

Stay-cation!

We did a little “Stay-cation” with my daughter and her two children last weekend!  The kids had a great time and it was a fun little getaway.  We went to “This Is the Place” Park.  It is located right across the street from the Hogle Zoo.    If any of you are in Utah and want a fun little “pioneer experience”… This is the place!  (get it!)
