One of my finds at Swiss Days this year was a baguette bread pan from the Food Nanny! I have been making baguette bread on a cookie sheet and it works fine, but the baguette pan gives your bread the rounded bottom and it put the design of the holes on the bottom! Purely, cosmetic, but oh so fun! Continue reading

Wonton Tacos with #Manwich Bold
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.
Have any of you tried making tacos with wonton wrappers? They are so easy and so yummy and I love that you can make individual servings and put on just the toppings that you or your family love to make them all personalized!
Here is a super easy, nutritional meal that you can make using a can of Manwich Bold for the sauce!
Toasted-Pecan Coconut Blondies
I am not sure what it is about the Autumn time…that just makes me want to start baking again! Maybe it is just the fact the air is cooler now and so I feel like I can turn my oven on again, or that the kids are back in school and I get myself back into somewhat of a routine too, but whatever it is that gets me going, I am thankful for it…because I really do love to bake! And It just is not fall without recipes that call for pumpkin, apples, or caramel!
Blackberry Peach Cobbler
My dad gave me a bowlful of blackberries before we went on our trip and I put them in the freezer because I did not have time to do anything with them before we left. But in Washington and Oregon blackberries just grow wild everywhere and I kept seeing restaurants that had blackberry cobbler on their dessert menu. So I have had blackberry cobbler on the mind and have been craving this dessert ever since we got home.. I finally got the blackberries out and I had a couple of peaches that I needed to use up, and these two fruits together make the perfect combination for a cobbler!
Salted Caramel Rice Krispie Treats
A week ago, my daughter sold her house and moved into a rental that my youngest son has. I could not do any of the heavy lifting, so I told her that I would just get her kitchen organized and put together. They had several people coming to help them move, so I decided that I would make a treat to take with me. These bars fit the bill perfectly!

Basil Pasta Salad
About ten days after my accident, I started to get my appetite back and for some reason a pasta salad sounded so good to me! My husband was still doing the cooking at that point, so I walked him through how to make it! There really is no recipe for this salad, but the secret ingredient is the basil!
BBQ Beef Salad Pizza
My husband and I went to a small restaurant awhile back, in Heber City, Utah called the Spin Cafe. I ordered a version of this salad pizza and it was so good that I wanted to try to duplicate it at home! I changed it up a bit, by adding cheese to the crust because I think that makes it more like a pizza!
This recipe is perfect for all of these hot summer days! You only need to heat your oven for a short time and you can use any veggies that you already have or use up some of those fresh veggies from your garden!
Frozen Fruit Salad
Today I have a great little recipe that you can make ahead and pop it in your freezer to use when you are ready for it! This is perfect for all those busy summer days…and nights!
Lasagna Roll-ups
I watched the Pioneer Woman cooking show the other day and she made some Lasagna Roll-ups for Ladd’s Grandmother.
My husband thought that they looked good, so I decided to do my own version of these, with a meat sauce and they were delish!
I love this recipe because I can put as many or as little in a pan and freeze them! They are perfect for a small family, empty nesters or someone who is alone. Continue reading
