Disneyland Trip 2017
My husband and I went on a little trip with our daughter and her two kids to sunny California…only it was not sunny!
It rained almost every day that we were there! The kids did not mind and it did make all the lines at Disneyland and Universal studios a lot shorter!
We started off the first day at the beach, because it was not raining!
It was not super warm, but the kids did not care. They swam, collected sea shells and had a wonderful time!
The next day was day one at Disneyland! We started at nine in the morning and went until nine at night.
We could go on every ride that we wanted to. Some of the rides we went on several times because the lines were not super long! “It’s a Small World” is my favorite ride, so of course we had to go on that one! I love all of the big roller coaster rides too, but “It’s a Small World” is just a classic!
My granddaughter bought me a cute necklace with my monogram on it and she got a matching one for her! I thought that was so sweet!
If you know what you are doing you can maneuver around the park and get fast passes. I was glad my daughter knew what to do because I was pretty much clueless!
The next day we headed up to Universal studios and Harry Potter World! The kids absolutely loved every minute of this place! Again, we were able to go on all the rides that we wanted to. I think, the rain kept the locals away. They rode on the Harry Potter ride 4 times without very much wait at all!
The third day it was California Adventure! I was pretty much worn out by about this time. So I slept in and went over after lunch! But again…we were able to ride on all the rides. Even I got on all of them at least once!
We loved this car ride where the cars all dance!
It was another fun filled day with a couple of the grand kids!
The last day of our Disneyland Trip 2017, it poured all morning long! The kids got soaked! But all in all it was a fun trip for the kids.
The rain was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because the lines were a lot shorter…but a curse…because it rained every day!

So fun to read about your trip! Sorry it wasn’t sunny for you. We are headed there in a couple of weeks ourselves. We will commute to the attractions from our timeshare at Newport Beach. (squeal) So Fun!!
