April Calendar Ideas

Here are my ideas for my calendar for this month.

Most of these things were just purchased.  Not a lot of homemade here this time, but when you can buy cute things that are already made there is no sense in making them, right?  I did add my own touch to a couple of the items.

April 2013 Visiting Teaching Handout

Here is my visiting teaching handout for April.  The lesson title is “Temple Covenants”

Spring is in the air!

And I am so loving our warmer weather and I am ready to get outside to play and to work in the yard.  This month’s handout just looks like spring!  So I hope that it will cheer up your day as well as the sisters that you visit!

Thursday’s Thought-When I Do Good…

Today’s thought comes from my kitchen counter!

I made this stitchery many, years ago (but I still love it!) and it sits behind my sink where I see it several times a day…

It  is kind of my motto!

Do any of you ever feel this way..

when you do something good, it makes you feel good, but when you do something bad, you really do feel bad.

So here is my printable for this week, that was inspired by this stitchery!

Thoughts-2-004-When-I-do-good...

To print this, just right click over image and go to “save image as”, save in a folder and you can then print it or upload to your favorite photo processing center.  It is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.

Or you can right click over the image and go to “copy image”, then open your favorite program and right click again, then go to paste, you can then print it in that program.

I hope that you will have a great Thursday and that we can all  “do good”  today!

 Love Ya!

March 2013 Visiting Teaching Handout

This month the title of the visiting teaching lesson is

Activation.

I took President Monson’s quote to focus on.    I decided to just go with a spring theme for this month, since St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are both in March, so I took a more generic route.  I love the colors in this handout, they just make me happy.  I am so ready for Spring to come, but it is still a ways off here in Utah.  I still have snow out in my yard!  So I will have to be content to just bring the bright colors into my home for a little while longer.

To print, just right click over the image and go to “save image as”, then save in one of your folders.  You can print from there or send out to your favorite photo processor.  You can also right click over image and go to “copy image” then open your favorite program like word or presentations and right click again and go to “paste”.  You can then print.

These are formatted to a 4 x 6 size.

Here is the blank one for those of you that want to translate the information.

This would also make a really fun card, invite, or tag!

I have a really fun idea to go with this that I am giving to  the sisters that I visit, but I did not get it done in time to take good pictures.  So I will take the pictures tomorrow in the daylight and I will post it next week!  Check back then to see what I have been up to!

How is everyone doing with the challenge to get 100% visits this year?  Let’s keep going!

Happy Visiting this Month!  Love Ya!

Thursday’s Thought…The Price

Well, I have jumped on the chalkboard bandwagon…

and my thought for today is my first attempt at this fun word art!

(Let me know what you think!)

I really like this quote because sometimes we need to stop and think about where we are spending our time,

and the price that we are paying for it.

Thursday’s Thought- Family Subway Art

Today I am posting my Family Subway Art for those of you that did not see it on facebook.

This is just a fun subway art that tells how I feel about my family.  I have formatted it in two different sizes, 8 x 10  and also 11 x 14.  This would make a fun gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a wedding, birthdays, or how about just a cute little pick me up gift for someone you love!  (Maybe yourself!)

This is the 8 x 10 format.

Blank Invitation

Happy Presidents Day everyone!

I hope that you get to spend the day doing something that you love!

Today, I have a little blank invitation for you.  I had to make these for one of our Relief Society activities for church and so decided that I would share a blank one with you!  You can just type your own information on it!  Print and cut and you will have your own individualized invitations!  Doesn’t get much easier than that.

In the orange box I changed my text to white and it makes it show up a lot better.

RS-002-food-storage-blankThis is formatted for an 8.5 x 11 page, so you can just print them on your own printer, and as you can see there are 4 to a page.

Hope that you enjoy them!

Have a great Presidents Day!  Love Ya!

You Light Up My Life

This is for my hubby for Valentines Day!

I love you!

But you might enjoy it too!:)  It’s a classic.

This was also the theme for my grandkids Valentines.

I filled a small box with some treats, a little surprise, and a light up balloon!  Plus some Love Potion #9.

This is the Valentine that I made to go with each of the boxes.  I printed mine out on photo paper and loved the glossy look!  I know that these are late for you to use this year, but I needed to surprise the kids, so you can save them for next year!  This would be cute with little flashlights, glow sticks or anything that lights up!
