I still had a few lemons in my fridge from when I made these Blueberry Lemon Muffins, so I decided that I had better use them up. (And since my fridge is still clean and organized, I can see what I have and what I need to use up, so my organizing is paying off already!)
My husband and I used to love to go to Marie Calendar’s, when they had one here locally and my favorite pie of all time was the sour cream lemon pie! I found this recipe and it tastes very similar to the Marie Calendar one and it was pretty easy to make, so I will now be adding this recipe to my collection!
I have the yummiest muffins for you today! I bought a big bag of lemons and a box of blueberries to make some cupcakes last week and I had leftover fruit so I decided to make these muffins! They are so full of flavor and are so refreshing with the lemons that your taste buds are going to be dancing in your mouth! Frozen Fruit Slush
4 cups sugar
5 cups water
Boil together in large pot and let cool.
5 bananas mashed
5 oranges juiced
5 lemons juiced
1 quart pineapple juice
Mix all ingredients together and pour in freezer trays or large cookie sheet and freeze. Cut into cubes and put into large glasses, then fill the rest of the way with 7-Up®
So refreshing and good for you with all of that fruit!
My candy bar of choice with this promotion would have to be hands down the Snickers®
