America…Land That I Love Pillow

America…Land that I love!

I got a couple of Americana patterns  on our Arizona trip last March and I just got them completed!  (I have an addiction weakness for anything Americana) This first project is a long pillow that I absolutely adore! The other one is a table quilt that I will show you on Friday!  Both of the patterns that I used are from Kimberbell DesignsAmerica...Land that I love pillow Continue reading

A Primitive Garden- BOM

When my husband and I went on our little trip to Las Vegas and Arizona, I found a darling new quilt shop in Vegas!  It is called The Christmas Goose.
They were so helpful and kind and they had so many darling quilts, kits, patterns and accessories that I just had to keep looking!  But up in one corner of the store, they had the most striking quilt hanging on display, when I asked about it, I found out it was a Block of the Month quilt and they were willing to send it to me every month!!!   Count me in!  :)A Primitive Garden Quilt Kit Continue reading

Rolled Paper Flowers

Striped Quilt

Yesterday I mentioned that my daughter was making some things for her new house.  Well of course she wanted new bedding and bedroom decor for the kids, so we got busy making some quilts.  For her son’s room…she is doing it in super hero’s and the colors are the bright primary colors, so she decided that the quilt needed to be in those colors but with a simple pattern so as not to be too busy with the other decor.  This is what she came up with and I think that it is perfect!Striped Quilt Continue reading

Fun Spring Banner!

The weather here in Utah has been unseasonably warm, while I know the people in the East are buried in snow…It is crazy!  But our warm weather has gotten the spring bug in me.  I have been out working in my yard, I cut off all my raspberry plants and raked all the leaves and junk out of my garden.  I still need to trim all my old perennials and get the fertilizer going!  But I am enjoying this beautiful weather to work in.

This year, I did not put out any Valentines decorations, so I am ready to get the spring/Easter stuff out already!  I went to the American Crafts scrapbook sale with my friend, Sharee, and we got some really fun papers, so I just had to make something with it!  This is what I came up with!spring banner Continue reading

New Outdoor Pillows

I have been working out in my yard trying to get everything cleaned up and getting all of my pots and flowers planted.  I like to spend most of my evenings out in my yard, so I enjoy having a “room” outside on my patio.

I like to have new pillows for this room, but outdoor pillows and cushions are quite expensive…so I usually just recover the ones I have!
