You Are “Toad”ally Awesome!

One of the two grandkids that I tend is a three year old, so I have been trying to work with him a little bit on learning his numbers and alphabets.  I decided that my back door was a great medium to use as a teaching tool!  I can use it as a big magnet board and what kid doesn’t  love to play with magnets?  I decided that we would make it fun with the toads and the “You are “Toad”ally Awesome” saying for positive reinforcement!  I love that it is at my back door and all of the grandkids have had a little bit of fun with it and they read that saying every time they leave my house! :) Continue reading →

Thursday’s Thought-Though No One Can Go Back…

I went out and took some pictures of my neighbor’s pansies yesterday morning after coming home from my morning walk.  They were just so pretty and caught my eye, that I decided to use one of the pictures for today’s thought!

I hope that you can enjoy them as much as I do!

Today’s thought comes from my kitchen counter!

I made this stitchery many, years ago (but I still love it!) and it sits behind my sink where I see it several times a day…

It  is kind of my motto!

Do any of you ever feel this way..

when you do something good, it makes you feel good, but when you do something bad, you really do feel bad.

Today I have my calendar ideas for March!

This was kind of a tricky month with both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, so I just went with a general spring theme for the calendar and then made two printable magnets-one for St. Patrick’s Day and one for Easter!  So you get a double bonus this month!

March 2013 Visiting Teaching Handout

This month the title of the visiting teaching lesson is

Activation.

I took President Monson’s quote to focus on.    I decided to just go with a spring theme for this month, since St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are both in March, so I took a more generic route.  I love the colors in this handout, they just make me happy.  I am so ready for Spring to come, but it is still a ways off here in Utah.  I still have snow out in my yard!  So I will have to be content to just bring the bright colors into my home for a little while longer.

To print, just right click over the image and go to “save image as”, then save in one of your folders.  You can print from there or send out to your favorite photo processor.  You can also right click over image and go to “copy image” then open your favorite program like word or presentations and right click again and go to “paste”.  You can then print.

These are formatted to a 4 x 6 size.

This would also make a really fun card, invite, or tag!
