I have been working out in the yard planting and getting ready for summer. With the help of a couple of cute girls, the Front Courtyard is now ready to use! Continue reading
Today I thought it would be fun to do a Flower Thought!
I have been out working in the yard planting flowers and the garden. The weather has been wonderful…until today!
It has turned off cold today and the weather forecast is saying to cover our tomatoes and tender plants!!!
It is the middle of MAY…for heaven’s sake…and we are having a frost warning!
Don’t you love this little thought.
As women we tend to compare ourselves to each other and we need to stop doing that and “JUST BLOOM!”
With spring in full bloom and summer just around the corner, there are going to be lots of flowers blooming everywhere. I hope that when you look at those flowers, you will remember this thought and
Bloom Where You Are!
On another note, my husband and I just got back from a little trip to Las Vegas. We went to a Celine Dion show and to LeReve. Both were really good shows and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The weather was warm and it felt good to get away together for a few days! We also spent a few days in sunny St. George before coming home! I love going on road trips with my husband. He was my own personal chauffeur to quilt shops, malls, eating out and sight seeing!
Thanks for Visiting! Remember to blossom today!
Fairy Garden 2017
I have been working out in the yard this last week planting some of my garden and some of my flower pots. I also had 2 of my grandchildren for 3 days and they wanted to help. We bought some new things for the Fairy Garden 2017 and some new plants!
They were so excited to put it all together and I think it turned out darling! Continue reading
This week I took a couple of the grandkids out to the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival 2017. It was a beautiful day and we just had a wonderful time enjoying the spring weather and all of the gorgeous blooms! Continue reading
I decided that I needed some fun fall colors in my house, so I did this arrangement of Fall Mason Jar Flowers! Don’t you love the vibrant colors in these flowers and the beautiful fall tones. It is also perfect that there is just a touch of purple in this arrangement that sets it off beautifully! Continue reading
When my husband and I went to Waco, TX, last month, we went to the Magnolia shops and I was able to purchase some items to start a Fairy Garden! I have never really thought about having a fairy garden, but when I saw the cute accessories that they had there, I got excited about making one! Continue reading
My husband and I went up to our cabin last week and it was a beautiful site! As we turned around a bend we saw beautiful fields of Wildflowers at the Cabin! There were so many of them that I decided I “needed” a beautiful bouquet to enjoy for the time that we were there! Continue reading
I took a couple of my grandkids to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens and I was thinking that the kids might be a little bit bored walking through the gardens…but they loved it! So much so, that we had to go back again a few days later! My secret…I let my 9 year old granddaughter take my camera and she had a great time. The battery on my camera died about half way through the gardens, so that is why we had to go back a few days later to finish our photo shoot! :) Continue reading
Today I have a yard tour for you. I was going to do this earlier…but a hail storm shredded some of my flowers to shreds and they are just now starting to look good again! Mother Nature is a curious creature. :) Continue reading
I thought that it would be fun to use one of my pictures from The Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, to make my thought for today! There were several quotes that I have, but I loved this one about walking in nature!I know that I am weird in my love for flowers…so you may have to deal with a few more flower pictures in future posts! :) Is there a flowers-anonymous club that I should join???
Hope you have a great Thursday!
