Thursday’s Thought – Come Ye Thankful People, Come

Sometimes the “hurrier” I go the “behinder” I get!

We did a Relief Society Activity at my house last night, so I am a little bit late in getting this posted this morning!  I will tell you all about our activity next week, it was a great activity in which we made our 72 hour food kits!

But for today, here is my Thursday “Thanksgiving” Thought.

For some reason, which is good, I have a very thankful heart this season!  I am grateful for my family, friends, health and freedom, just to name a very few.  I am grateful for a husband who supports me in everything I do.  He is my best friend, confidante, supporter and also the biggest tease!

Today, take just a few seconds and look around you at all the blessings that you enjoy, start counting them and soon you will have a very grateful heart too!

Today my thought is a fun one… just in time for Halloween!

 I have actually used this for several tags to give to people for a “just thinking of you”  or thanks for all you do note attached with some kind of chocolate of course!   Do you know anyone who could use a pick me up today or a “I’m thinking of you today”?  Go ahead and print some of these up as tags and give them away!  It will make you feel good.

Thursday Thought-The Time You Enjoy…

Well, I got my second craft event over with last night!  Yeah!  It went very well and we had a great time.  I think that after my two crafting events that this thought today fits perfectly! 

Sometimes I think that we get going along in life and don’t take the time to do the things that we love to do, or if we do take the time to do them, we feel guilty!  Anyone out there ever done that?  I think that women especially do that, so this thought is perfect for a reminder to all of us that we need to take time and do something that we love!

Sometimes I think that we all need a little reminder to just have a good attitude about life.  

I know that I tend to let little things drag me down and bother me when it is pretty silly if I really think about it.   If I will just stop and look around, it doesn’t take very long at all before I start to count all of my blessings and realize how fortunate I really am!

Thurs. Thought-Everyone Comes Into Your Life…

This thought today touches close to my heart.  Isn’t it true…that everyone that comes into our life affects us somehow.

There are so many people around me that have taught me and I have learned some wonderful lessons  from them.  I am so grateful for that and for the experiences that I have everyday.  I am truly a blessed person with so many great friends and close family members!  :)

I think that today’s thought is timely for all those who have kids that have not yet gone back to school! :)

Does anyone else feel this way, or is it only me?  

I love my grandkids, but I can definitely tell that is is time for school to start again!

Of course, I need patience in a lot of other ways too, so this thought is perfect for all those times.
