Citrus Infused Vinegar!

Have any of you tried Citrus Infused Vinegar for cleaning?  My oh My…I love that I can clean with vinegar but have a fresh citrus smell!  It doesn’t get a whole lot better than that!

Citrus Infused VinegarI made a batch of this vinegar and I fell in love immediately with the fresh smell and the wonderful cleaning job that it does.  You can use this on your wood floors, your tile, your bathrooms,  on mirrors…really about any cleaning job you might have!  I used this on a stainless steel drinking fountain and it made it shine as well as smell good!

Going Green

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of White Cloud for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t know about you, but I always feel better when I am doing things to help others and doing things to help out the environment.  There are a lot of little things that we can do, we can recycle paper, aluminum and plastic products, we can turn off the lights as we leave a room or we can look for eco-friendly products to use in our homes.

One of the things that I have done to help out the enviroment is to make my own DIY Fabric Softner. This is a great recipe to use in doing your laundry!  There are only 3 ingredients so it is easy and inexpensive to do.

Another fun project that I have just done recently with my grandkids is to recycle boxes to make darling books. The kids all love them! Check out how to make your own here.

My 5 top posts for 2012

This is a post that I shared at Ginger Snap Crafts last week and decided that I would now share it with you.  It was fun to go back through the last year and review some of the projects and recipes.  This is really a good exercise for all of us to do.  Look back through your journals, calendars, or notebooks and take a look at all the things that you accomplished throughout this last year.  It is really quite rewarding to recognize all the things you have completed or overcome!  You should really do this!

My top five posts from last year:

The most viewed and most pinned post was:

My Cute Car Kit.

This is a great way to lighten up your purse and yet still have all the things that you would need while you are out carpooling and driving kids  from place to place,  running errands, etc. etc. etc.  (Do you sometimes feel like you live in your car?)
