I actually was able to get it out a little bit earlier than planned, so you have plenty of time to print them off and get everything ready! I know that there are quite a few of you that are printing for your ward or stake, so I wanted to give you plenty of time to get them out to everyone! The reading starts on Feb. 17th and ends on Easter Sunday, a week before the next April Conference!
Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope that each and every one of you will carry the true meaning of Christmas in your heart…not only during this season…but throughout the coming year!
I want to share this video from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It is beautifully done and carries such a sweet message:
I hope that each of you will have the true meaning of Christmas in your heart and that you will get to spend some time with those that you love!
I appreciate each of you, my readers and wish the very best for you and pray that the new year will be the best one ever! May you find love, peace, kindness and joy is my Christmas wish for all of you!
Happy Holidays From Our Family to Yours!
This was a special night for all of us. My dad was the narrator for this fun nativity night! These kids love their Great Grandpa and I am so glad that they got to spend some time with him and that he had a special part in our Nativity!
The 40 day conference reading challenge starts today! I hope that you are all on board and that you have your conference magazines ready to go. The talk for today is a great way to start. It is on page 134, they spoke to us, titled “Making Conference Part of Our Lives”. There is a section for children, youth, and adults. It is a great way to get others involved with you and your reading program!
The kids in our area start school today also, so this perfect timing for those mothers with kids in school. You might be able to find a few minutes to read and study while the kids are away to school! I can hardly believe that the summer is fast coming to an end…where does the time go? I have a little standing joke with my sister…when our kids were younger, we would call each other on the first day of school and wish each other a “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!” :) So in honor of traditions gone by I decided to make this fun sign for all you mothers out there with school age children:You know you love it! Even though I was always a little bit sad to get back into the routine of school…it was also a happy day! :)
