I hope that this new year will bring much happiness, health, joy and peace to each of you.

I am so grateful for your support and thank you for spending a little bit of your time with me!

My 5 top posts for 2012

This is a post that I shared at Ginger Snap Crafts last week and decided that I would now share it with you.  It was fun to go back through the last year and review some of the projects and recipes.  This is really a good exercise for all of us to do.  Look back through your journals, calendars, or notebooks and take a look at all the things that you accomplished throughout this last year.  It is really quite rewarding to recognize all the things you have completed or overcome!  You should really do this!

My top five posts from last year:

The most viewed and most pinned post was:

My Cute Car Kit.

This is a great way to lighten up your purse and yet still have all the things that you would need while you are out carpooling and driving kids  from place to place,  running errands, etc. etc. etc.  (Do you sometimes feel like you live in your car?)

I want to send my holiday wishes to you and I hope that you will have a wonderful, magical Christmas Season and enjoy some precious time with your family and friends.  If your heart is hurting or sad at this time of year I send my love and prayers that your burdens will be lifted and that happiness will find it’s way back into your life. I am grateful for the time you spend with me each and everyday. PS.  I am doing a guest post today at: Ginger Snap Crafts.  If you have a minute drop on over.

Thursday’s Thought

This has been one crazy week in my neck of the woods.

I will have had 3 parties this week.  Nothing like starting December out with a bang!   I did my Sinterklaas party on Sunday, last night I helped with a progressive dinner for our Relief Society activity ( which was super fun to see all the cute decorated homes and eat and eat and eat!)  then this weekend we will have one of our extended family Christmas party.

 So party on…

With that said today’s thought is one that I posted last year, but felt it worthy of being posted again and because I just did not have time to create a new one:)

Here is the printable version for you.  To print, right click over image and go to “save image as” then save in one of your pictures file.  This is a fun little gift, if you need a quick easy one!

This is a perfect thought to make us think about what we are doing everyday.  Do we let others into our lives and do we reach out to those who might need our help today?

I love this time of year because we all tend to think of others more, myself included, and it is a great and wonderful feeling!

Have a Happy Day Today!  Love Ya!

December Calendar Ideas

Here is my December calendar!

This month for my calendar, I decided to make a fun little garland using mini cupcake liners and doilies!  I think that it turned out pretty cute.  You could use this idea with regular sized cupcake liners and doilies to make a bigger one and of course you could change up the colors to use for any season!

December 2012 Visiting Teaching Handout

This month the message is

“Visiting Teaching, a Work of Salvation”

It talks about the importance of sharing our testimonies and teaching those that we visit.

I just made a fun little Christmas themed card for this month.   You could pair this with a fun Christmas treat, book, lotion, or any other little gift that you might want to give.  But really and truly the visit is the most important part and sharing your time and talents with all those whom you serve!

Here is a blank one for those of you who would like to translate!

These are formatted to 4 x6 so you can just send them to be printed, if you want to do that.

To print, right click over image and go to “save image as”  then just save into one of your pictures files.

One idea for a great treat are these yummy mint brownies  You will find the recipe here.

I make these every year at Christmas time, in fact I am making some for our Sinterklaas Party this weekend!  That is how good these are!  I will tell more about the party next week.

Remember to Keep Christ in Christmas!

Happy Visiting Everyone!  Love Ya!

Thursday’s Thought

I love you…

Love you more…

Have you ever said this with someone?  I know that you have,

I have sometimes carried it even one step farther and said

 I love you the mostest!

I always do like to have the last word! :)

This is a fun word game that we play with those that we love and I thought that it might be fun for our thought this week.  I have formatted this to be  8 x 10, so if you want to frame it, you could make a fun little gift for someone!

Here is a fun red version just in time for the holidays.

(This would also be perfect for Valentines day, if you want to think that far ahead!)

To print this right click over image and go to “save image as”  then save in one of your pictures file.

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Hope You Have a Great Day!  Love Ya!
