America…Land That I Love Pillow

America…Land that I love!

I got a couple of Americana patterns  on our Arizona trip last March and I just got them completed!  (I have an addiction weakness for anything Americana) This first project is a long pillow that I absolutely adore! The other one is a table quilt that I will show you on Friday!  Both of the patterns that I used are from Kimberbell DesignsAmerica...Land that I love pillow Continue reading

My husband and I just got back from our annual trip to Arizona.  We had a great time again this year.  You would think that we might get tired of doing the same things every year…but we love this trip and never seem to tire of it!  Arizona Trip 2015 Continue reading

COKE Quilt

I went for a mammogram a few weeks ago…which by the way…if you are due for one, or overdue…GO GET IT DONE.  Luckily everything was okay for me, but on the way home I decided that I needed to treat myself…to a new quilt kit!  I’m spoiled rotten, I know!  They had these kits at the Fabric Mill  in Orem, Utah and I just could not resist!  I am a well known Coke-aholic!  My granddaughter reminds me of this often!  :)Coke quilt Continue reading

Striped Quilt

Yesterday I mentioned that my daughter was making some things for her new house.  Well of course she wanted new bedding and bedroom decor for the kids, so we got busy making some quilts.  For her son’s room…she is doing it in super hero’s and the colors are the bright primary colors, so she decided that the quilt needed to be in those colors but with a simple pattern so as not to be too busy with the other decor.  This is what she came up with and I think that it is perfect!Striped Quilt Continue reading

Naughty or Nice Christmas Pajamas

I get all the kids Christmas pajamas for our Sinterklaas party every year, that way they can wear them all month long!  Sometimes I buy them, but this year I decided to make them. When we had our Girl’s weekend this fall and we were making all of our iron-on shirts, one of my friends gave me the idea to make these for Christmas!  And I think that they turned out darling!  The kids all loved them too, although they questioned some of the “nice” ones…like our littlest  baby girl…her brothers all said that she was “naughty”, but how can a darling baby girl be naughty???naughty and nice pj's Continue reading

Give Thanks Pillows

I have one last project for Thanksgiving before moving on to Christmas.  But, this project is one of those “oops” projects!  Last weekend my husband and I went to our cabin for a few days, my husband went hunting on our family property while I worked on projects at the cabin.  I got a lot of things accomplished and I was feeling pretty good about myself, until I got home and discovered a mistake in the pillows that I had made!Give Thanks Pillows Continue reading
