Fabric Monogram Wreath
I shared this project a couple of weeks ago over at “I Should Be Mopping the Floor”, but wanted to share it with all of my readers in case you missed it over there.
I have a super fun little project today. It is this darling fabric monogram wreath just in time for your Halloween crafting and decorating! This is sooo easy to make, but it looks like it took a great deal of time and effort!
Craft Retreat 2013
We were able to get our cabin all put back together from the fire and the flood, just in time for my craft retreat this weekend. (Sometimes it helps to have a deadline that you are working for!) The new carpet was installed on Monday and we arrived on Thursday! The ladies were all kind enough to help me put a couple of the beds back in the right place and do a quick little clean-up.
We started the weekend with a shopping trip to World Market and a couple of other places, then we had dinner at Cafe Rio, a favorite of everyone! After dinner we drove up to our cabin. There were 6 of us and we had a great time over the course of the next two days getting to know each other. We crafted, we ate, we talked, we laughed, we ate, we crafted some more and just had a great overall time.
This is what the loft looked like most of the weekend. We were painting, sewing, paper crafting and doing vinyl! We were able to complete 5 different projects in one day! It was pretty much a marathon, but such a fun one! We started Friday morning right after breakfast and ended at about midnight! With only a couple of breaks in between.
Witch Boots Table Runner
Hey everyone, today I have my first Halloween Project! I realize that this is early, but decided to post it now in case any of you out there want to make one, you will have plenty of time to get it done! I bought this as a kit at one of my local quilt shops but I have seen the pattern around in several different quilt stores.
Isn’t this just the cutest!!!!
Happy Haunting!
From our house to yours:
Happy Halloween!
We had our Halloween Party on Sunday with fun food, games and costumes! We played Bingo, Don’t Eat Jack, Pin the Heart on the Skeleton, Mummy Bowling and the one tradition that the kids all ask for as soon as they walk in the door: an old fashioned fish pond with lots of fun prizes!
It was great fun and I love to see the kiddos in their costumes!
I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!
To all of you who are in the path of Sandy, you are in our prayers and we are thinking of you and hoping for the best outcome for you!
This post is from pink polka dot creations. If you are not reading it from our feed, it has been STOLEN. Please contact Rita to let us know. Please enjoy the posts!
“Velcome” to my Lab!
I am way excited about my project for today! I found this at a little boutique a few weeks ago, but you could totally make your own and it would not be very hard to do! I am in love with the concept of this banner!
So “Velcome” to my Lab! Continue reading
Halloween Muddy Buddies
The other day I had one of my best little helpers with me and we decided that we would like to make something good to eat!
My little helper was great at measuring and pouring the ingredients into the bowl. I love to have a little helper in the kitchen, don’t you?
We decided that these Halloween Muddy Buddies would hit the spot, what do you think? Do you want to make some too?
Ruffled Halloween Dishtowels
I love to decorate my kitchen for the holidays, because that is where we spend so much time!
So I thought that these ruffled dish towels would be just the thing that I needed to make my kitchen a little more festive for Halloween. Continue reading
