This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rubbermaid® All AccessTM Organizers for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

With Spring in the air it is time to start my spring cleaning and getting my house organized!  I love anything that will help me get organized and yet keep my things where I can see what I have.  That is why is am in love with these new  Rubbermaid® All Access™ organizers.

Rubbermaid® All AccessTM storage containers

They are perfect for storing all kinds of things like all my gardening tools and supplies because you can stack them on top of each other yet you still have access to all of the bins!  I love this idea and whoever came up with this idea is a genius!  I can put my gloves and tools in one bin and my fertilizers and plant foods in another stack them on top of each other and still have access to both bins at the same time!

These Rubbermaid® All Access™ organizers come in a variety of colors, so you can even color code your organizing efforts!  These would be great in kids playrooms, garages, closets and storage areas!  They look great and they make it easy to organize any room.

The Rubbermaid® All Access™ organizers can be found at Walmart stores around the country, so they are easy to find.

What storage area needs helps in your home?  Why not let the Rubbermaid® All Access™ organizers help you?  I know they will help me!

Easy to Sew Zippered Pouches!

Yesterday we had another one of our sewing classes for Relief Society in my church.  I taught them how to put in a zipper and we made these fun zippered pouches!

These are so fun to make and they are a great project to learn how to put a zipper in!   This is a beginning sewing class so all of the projects are simple to make.  There are a lot of pictures in this tutorial, but do not let that discourage you.  These are literally a 15-20 minute project once you have made one and know how to do them! My 5 top posts for 2012

This is a post that I shared at Ginger Snap Crafts last week and decided that I would now share it with you.  It was fun to go back through the last year and review some of the projects and recipes.  This is really a good exercise for all of us to do.  Look back through your journals, calendars, or notebooks and take a look at all the things that you accomplished throughout this last year.  It is really quite rewarding to recognize all the things you have completed or overcome!  You should really do this!

My top five posts from last year:

The most viewed and most pinned post was:

My Cute Car Kit.

This is a great way to lighten up your purse and yet still have all the things that you would need while you are out carpooling and driving kids  from place to place,  running errands, etc. etc. etc.  (Do you sometimes feel like you live in your car?)

Handmade Smash Journal

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and that you are still enjoying time with your loved ones!  We had a great Christmas Eve gathering with all of our family and it was so fun to have all of my family together!  We had dinner and a fun night of sharing our White Envelope Stories (we changed this up just a bit this year and had the kids all tell us what they did).  We then we opened presents with all of the adult men getting a Nerf gun and having an all out competition with a target drawn on one of my french doors!  (Even my 86 year old dad got in on the action!)  It was crazy!

Then we all settled down to read the Nativity story in Luke 2.  The kids loved the nativity costumes and it turned out really cute to have them act out the different parts!

So are you now ready to move into 2013?

It seems like we all turn to organizing and setting some goals for the new year and I have a fun little idea for you.  I am not very good at setting goals because they are the same every year, which means that I am not very good at accomplishing the goals that I set for myself!  But I am good at making lists and accomplishing a lot of the things on my list, so I love the idea of the Smash journals.  If you are not familiar with them, the basic idea behind them is that you just “smash” your ideas, pictures, magazine articles, ticket stubs, etc into your book.  Here is the description from the Smash Pinterest page:

“So, what do you Smash? Well, it doesn’t have to be a life event, just the special little moments and mementos of your day—some of that stuff in your junk drawer, for example. A snapshot, a ticket stub from that movie you loved, a newspaper clipping, a magazine snippet, a cardboard coaster from a favorite restaurant, your child’s first crayon doodle…get the idea? Smash it, jot a note or add a caption sticker, and go! Smash is a great way to document everyday life or a road trip.”

So I made some “Smash” books for some of my Christmas gifts this year!

November Calendar

I have gotten a new makeover for the blog!  What do you think?  I love how it looks and I think that you will be able to find things a little bit easier.  We are still working out a few of the bugs, but I love the overall look!  I have been working with Jenn from Munchkin Land Designs  and I would recommend her to everyone.  She has been great to work with and has been more than willing to tweak whatever I wanted her to do!  Thanks Jenn!

Now for my post for today…

This is my calendar for November.  I used some of the same things from September, but I added a few of my own touches.  I put the fall leaves garland across the top with a group of leaves in the corner with a glass bubble that says “Inspire.”

Ikea Book Shelves (Spice Racks)

I don’t know how many of you have seen on Pinterest or out there in blog land, these spice racks from Ikea used as a book shelf. Well, I saw the idea about a year ago and I have literally been waiting that long to get some!  They have been back ordered, in stock and out again for over a year!  My cute neighbor, Susan, called me last week and said that she was at Ikea and they had some in stock and did I want her to pick some up for me!  Don’t you just love friends that watch out for you!

Cute Car Kit

Summer is almost here and I have a fun, cute idea for your car!  How many of you feel like you spend more time in your car than in your home?  I know that I used to feel that way when my kids were involved in sports, dance, music etc.  It seemed like all I did was carpool!  If this sounds like you, then you need this handy little kit to leave in your car and you will always be prepared! Organizer Gift Boxes

Here is a really cute, fun, simple little gift idea!

It is great for teacher appreciation, a thank you gift for someone, just thinking about you, or heck, it would be great to just make one for yourself! :)

Remember the chocolate morsels that we wrapped here.  Well this is another fun way to use those sweet babies.

Ribbon Storage Closet

I promised that I would show you my ribbon closet someday, and now that someday is here!  I have a fetish for ribbon and when I owned a scrapbook store we had a great selection of ribbons and I was always adding to it.  When I closed the store down, I brought home about 1/4 of the bolts of ribbons.  We sold all the rest, but I still came home with 2 racks of ribbon!  I told you I have a fetish!  Most of this is what I came home with. Then I added to this collection with a lot of ribbons from Costco.  They come on these big rolls, so I put them on spring curtain rods.  I added the shelf to work on.  I know that it is not fancy, but it does the job! I have the shelf in the corner for future ribbons!  You wouldn’t want me to run out of ribbon now would you? A Nifty Little Soap Trick

Today’s post goes along with the knitted dishcloths and everyone is going to have the cleanest kitchens in town!

One of my DIL’s showed me this great new product.  It is foaming dish soap!  I love it for when you want to just wash a dish or two or wipe up the counters. It works like a charm and since it is foaming you do not get a gooey slimy mess all over!

Then she told me that it is refillable too!  Bonus!  But what is even better is that she told me about this nifty little soap trick!  You do not have to use the refillable soap for this you can make your own!
