Fairy Garden 2017

I have been working out in the yard this last week planting some of my garden and some of my flower pots. I also had 2 of my grandchildren for 3 days and they wanted to help. We bought some new things for the Fairy Garden 2017 and some new plants!

My sister and I went to Thimbles and Thread Quilt shop in Draper, and took a “Scout Tee” shirt class together! It was so much fun. We have not done anything together for a long time, so it was great to catch up and visit with each other!

In the class we learned how to sew a woven cotton t-shirt! I have to admit that we were a little bit skeptical about how it would fit…with no stretch to the fabric. But they both turned out so different and so cute! (more…)
